The Registrar’s Office requires the services of a full-time Student Records Assistant to commence work as soon as possible in the Student Records unit.
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Records and Registration, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of Student data related to demographic information, student program details, registration, academic history including grades and degree information, and transcript integrity. Responsibilities will include: maintaining student records in the BANNER Student Information System; working with both physical and electronic files; creating and maintaining system rules for processes such as web grade entry and registration; other duties as required.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,558.00 - $3,958.50 per month.


The ideal candidate will possess a two-year college diploma in a related field with 3 to 4 years experience in a post-secondary environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to holders of a university degree. The candidate must have excellent organizational and analytical skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a strong customer service orientation. A high level of proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.), excellent keyboarding skills and accuracy are a must. Experience in the BANNER Student Information System is an asset. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with members of the University community is essential.
