The University of Lethbridge Health Centre invites applications for the position of an Administrative Support I to commence work as soon as possible. This is a permanent full-time position (11 month sessional) position, with part of the summers off and paid leave for December break.

The successful candidate will provide front desk reception, administrative and clerical duties for the University of Lethbridge Health Centre. Duties for this position include:

• general front desk reception duties
• appointment scheduling for a multi-level team (physicians, psychiatrists, dietitian, chiropractor, massage therapy, nurses)
• general medical inquiries and information regarding Health Centre services
• filing and medical record maintenance
• ordering of office supplies and stationary
• other duties as required

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,231.00 - $3,573.50 monthly.


The University of Lethbridge Health Centre is a fast-paced unit requiring an exceptional individual with excellent customer service and administrative support skills. Either a relevant two-year college diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience in medical administrative support is expected. This position requires a person with top-level time management and organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. The ability to maintain effective working relations with colleagues and the University community is essential. The Health Centre is transitioning to an electronic medical record system and EMR experience/skills are an asset.
