University Advancement at the University of Lethbridge requires the services of a qualified Administrative Support I to commence work as soon as possible. This is a full-time three year project position that supports specific fundraising projects related to the University’s overall fundraising initiatives.
Under the supervision of the Manager, Advancement Services, this position updates records in the University Advancement database (BANNER), maintains hard-copy constituent files, proactively researches biographic information and produces lists, labels and reports from the database. The incumbent will also perform administrative duties in support of special projects relating to fundraising, data maintenance and reporting for the Development department.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,231.00 - $3,574.00 per month.
The ideal candidate will have a two-year college diploma in a related field, with 12 months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful incumbent will have intermediate level computer skills including data processing experience, familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, mail merges and proficient keyboarding skills. Knowledge of Banner is a definite asset. University Advancement is a very fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the successful incumbent must have excellent time management and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and an ability to multi-task work independently in a fast-paced fundraising environment. Given the personal and private nature of some information, the incumbent must be mature and able to exercise professional discretion on matters including both internal and external constituents. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues is essential.
