JOURNEYMAN MILLWRIGHT

The University of Lethbridge Mechanical Department requires the services of a Full-time Journeyman Millwright with trade certification to commence work as soon as possible.

Reporting to the Mechanical Systems Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for predictive, preventative and routine maintenance for all building, and plant mechanical systems and other duties as assigned.

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in maintaining rotating equipment and related building systems in a similar environment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $4,686.00 - $5,304.50 per month.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have trade certification, a valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License and the ability to perform manual duties requiring strenuous exertion. In addition, applicants will be required to work at heights and confined spaces in a safe manner and must be able to keep up-to-date with changes in technologies and be able to maintain an effective working relationship with others.
