ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The University of Lethbridge Students’ Union is looking for a full time Administrative Assistant. This position requires a minimum of 35 hours per week. Monday through Friday.
Reporting directly to the Students’ Union General Manager, the areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
-Managing and addressing inquiries at the reception desk, answering and directing calls through the SU switchboard, overseeing bookings in our ballrooms, meeting rooms and front lobby, distributing the incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling appointments, processing food bank requests, health and dental plan assistance, and other duties as assigned.
The Administrative Assistant works in close cooperation with the Executive Council, all Students’ Union administration, clubs, University students, faculty and staff, as well as members of the general public.
The successful candidate must be a self starter, team player and be flexible to work in a student driven environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Knowledge of Photoshop and Indesign is a strong asset.
