Employment Opportunity – Part-Time Temporary
Kindermusik Educator

The University of Lethbridge Conservatory of Music invites applications for the position of part-time temporary Kindermusik Educator to teach Kindermusik classes on Thursday late-afternoons and Saturdays mornings. Kindermusik is an early-childhood music and movement program for ages 0-7 (in age-specific classes). For more information about the program, please visit

Successful applicants will need to be licensed and go through Kindermusik training, which can be done over the summer. The successful applicant will commence work in the Fall semester and continue until the end of the academic year (May, 2013). Kindermusik classes only run if minimum enrollment has been met, but potential hours are approximately 5 hours per week.

The successful candidate must have a minimum undergraduate degree in a related field, and have experience working with very young children and be comfortable speaking and singing in large groups of children and adults. Reliability, and the ability to be organized and maintain contact with families and are also essential.
