The Registrar’s Office requires the services of a qualified Administrative Assistant II to commence work on as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Associate Vice-President (Students) and the Registrar, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Associate Vice-President (Students) and the Registrar. The incumbent will be responsible for tracking and monitoring the Student Services budget including requisitions and transfers; assist in the preparation of major reports; manage complex administrative records and polices; ensure employee files are complete and current; provide direct support to other units as required; schedule appointments; prepare correspondence and minutes.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,982.00 - $4,451.00 per month.
The successful candidate will have a two year College Diploma with more than 4 years of prior related- work experience in a confidential capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent organizational, record keeping and filing skills are required. The incumbent must be able to determine task priority, complete tasks with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to changing needs all in a confidential manner. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in a variety of computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and Banner) and basic accounting. Preference will be given to the incumbent with extensive knowledge of the post-secondary system and the University of Lethbridge policies and procedures and a comprehensive understanding of the operations and issues in all units of the Student Services.
