Emmy Droog Research Awards in Health Sciences
SECOND Call for Applications - 2012
Funding for this award has been made available through the Emmy Droog Professorship in Complementary and Alternative Health Care at the University of Lethbridge. The intent of this award is to promote evidence-based research on issues and care practices across the broadest spectrum of clinical intervention, including concepts and outcomes associated with complementary and alternative medicine and the alignment of these practices with traditional medicine.
Specific Goals
• To develop research connections and partnerships between members of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the rest of the University of Lethbridge community;
• To build partnerships with the external practice community; and
• To translate evidence-based research outcomes to the clinical community.
Applications are due by 4:00 p.m., Friday January 18 2013. Late submissions will not be accepted and incomplete applications will be deemed ineligible. Competition results will be announced in April 2013.
