TAKE OUR KIDS TO WORK
The 18th annual Take Our Kids To Work TM Program occurs on November 7, 2012 across Canada. The program offers grade 9 students the opportunity to spend the day at work, job shadowing a parent, relative, friend or volunteer. Information on the program may be found at: http://www.thelearningpartnership.ca/page.aspx?pid=250
If you are hosting or asking another University employee to host a grade nine student at the University of Lethbridge first ensure that you receive approval from your department head or the department head where the child wishes to spend the day. Please also contact Risk & Safety Services to receive University documentation to the Program and to ensure a risk assessment has been completed for the job/work site/tasks the child may be exposed to.
