Those returning to work this week following the Canada Day long weekend will notice that the University of Lethbridge campus is busier than usual.
Over the weekend, a number of residents from High River, Alta. made their way south to Lethbridge to seek refuge while their town continues to deal with the severe flooding that took place just over a week ago.
University staff, students and faculty, along with numerous community volunteers have been working hard to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible during this extremely difficult situation.
As a welcoming community partner, the University will continue to afford a safe and comfortable environment for our High River guests. Please assist the newest residents of our community should they have any questions or need help finding their way around campus.
