Fire alarm bells and strobe lights will be ringing and flashing for about five minutes early Wednesday morning as construction crews test these devices.
Testing is required in order to meet occupancy requirements for the renovated day-use change rooms for pool users.
The exercise is set to take place between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. Wednesday throughout the PE Building, Centre for Sport and Wellness, and the Max Bell Aquatic Centre.
Evacuation will not be necessary however the alarm verification team will need to access to the change rooms via the pool deck.
The change room renovations are part of the larger PE Building construction project that is wrapping up this month. Details on the project can be found at www.uleth.ca/notice/display.html?b=300&s=17646
