This outdoor event will run from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM in Downtown Lethbridge at Galt Gardens. Vendors from all over Alberta will be on site selling a large assortment of music in different genres and formats.
The event will feature thousands of vinyl records, compact discs, tapes and much more music-related merchandise will all be on sale for music lovers young and old.
An assortment of local and out-of-town businesses will also be at the fair offering: art, food, clothing, collectibles, and music stuff.
Live music performed throughout the entire day by a diverse range of talented musicians. Food and beverages will be available; a beer gardens will also be on site.
A 50/50 draw, pick-your-prize raffles, and a scavenger hunt will entertain the whole family. Everyone is invited to attend!
This year's event is an official celebration of the CKXU Radio Society's 40th anniversary on the airwaves in Southern Alberta (formerly CKUL).
All proceeds from the 2nd annual Love & Records fair will be used for upgrading the CKXU broadcasting headquarters.
Mark your calendars for perhaps the best FREE music-lovers event of the year! Be sure to bring your friends, a lawn chair, and plan to stay for a day of fun and music in the park.
The general public is invited to donate their old LPs, EPs, CDs, tapes, 8-tracks, or any other music media format they no longer use to the CKXU Radio Society before the event as part of the event’s fundraising objectives.
Donations are only accepted by drop-off at Blueprint Entertainment or the CKXU Radio Headquarters on the first floor of the Students’ Union building at the University of Lethbridge.
