Effective immediately and until further notice a fire ban has been placed on all open fires in the River Valley area.
Excluded are the stoves at John Martin Centre, the Rotary picnic shelter, the stoves at Henderson park, the Elks Compound camp kitchens and any fire pits at a private residential dwelling.
For more information citizens are encourage to call the Fire Prevention office at 320-3811.
