To University of Lethbridge Students:
Last year, University of Lethbridge students voted in favour of contributing $2.5 million dollars in support of the Regional Health and Wellness Centre (now known as the Centre for Sport and Wellness). In recognition of this significant contribution the University of Lethbridge is allowing students to name the facilities fitness centre. The Students’ Union has created a naming committee to name the Fitness Centre.
This is where we need your help! Please login here to make your suggestion for the fitness Centre. You will have from November 7-15, to vote. Please be aware that students are limited to one suggestion. The deadline to make your suggestion is Wednesday November 15, 2006 at 4:00 pm.
You are invited to attend an open house located in the Students’ Union Council Chambers (SU 180) on Thursday November 16, 2006 from 4-7pm to go through the list and narrow it down to the top 3 suggestions. From there, those 3 suggestions will be presented to the ULSU General Assembly, which will then determine the new name for the University of Lethbridge Fitness Centre.
