The Curriculum Re-Development Centre (CRDC) and the Centre for the Advancement of Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CAETL) requires the services of a full-time Administrative Assistant I to commence work as soon as possible.

Reporting to the Director of the CRDC, the primary responsibilities will include providing organizational and administrative support to the Director, managers, CAETL, and CRDC staff.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $2,639.00 - $3,059.50 per month.


The successful candidate will have a two-year College Diploma or Undergraduate Degree. Preference will be given to those with a University Degree, and those with a minimum of three years of prior related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and with others in a team environment where problem solving, multi-tasking, creativity, and flexibility are required. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the technologies that the CRDC/CAETL support, including preparation/experience with multimedia applications, information management systems, and the ability to record complex technical discussions. Experience working in a post-secondary environment would be an asset.

The ability to maintain effective working relationships with members of the University community and the general public is essential.
