The Fort Macleod Museum is planning a gala fund-raising event for Saturday, Feb 3rd, 2007. The dinner and theatre evening will be developed around a murder mystery. We are recruiting 7 actors, volunteers, from the community but all likely toastmasters, (natural hams and some with acting experience) but we are in need of a director. We plan one meeting at the Fort before Christmas, (where each actor would receive his character and have a chance to develop that character over the holidays) and then 4 (once a week) 2 to 3 hour rehearsals (at the Fort), one dress rehearsal, and then the event.

We are looking for a senior drama student, one who would have the time and find the project to their liking. We would offer an honorarium of $250 plus gas money to drive back and forth from Lethbridge to the Fort.

If anyone is interested please email me (Denise Calderwood, jwcalder@telusplanet.net) or call 687-3931, or call the Fort and talk with Evelyn Mctrough.
