Changes to Wellness Spending Accounts
As of January 1, 2018, Wellness Spending accounts for all eligible employee groups will be revised as follows:
• The WSA categories will be expanded and new categories will be added.
• Your eligible dependants will now be eligible under your WSA.

Changes to the Alberta Blue Cross Member Website
Effective July 10, there will changes to the sign-in process for the Alberta Blue Cross member web site as outlined in the Summer 2017 Connection Bulletin.
As a result of the changes to the sign-in process for the Alberta Blue Cross member web site, the address for the sign-in page has changed. The new sign-in address is: members.ab.bluecross.ca

UAPP Website New Information:
The Retirement Planner will be upgraded to improve service to plan members with changes expected to be introduced by the end of September 2017. The changes include an improved look, added communication tools, and member self-registration to allow you to reset your own password. You will still be able to prepare retirement estimates that use your actual data and you will continue to have access to your annual member statement. For assistance, please call Conduent Human Resource Services at 1.866.709.2092 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Alberta time during business days.

The University of Lethbridge contributions to two separate defined benefit pension plans; Universities Academic Pension Plan (UAPP) and the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP). A defined benefit means the pension is based on your highest average salary and the number of years of your pensionable service. Eligibility is according to the UAPP or PSPP regulations, employment status, employee group, and length of service with the University.
