Dining Plan Base dollars are also tax except so there are limitations to where these can be spent. Vending for instance has tax included in the price so therefore base dining plan funds cannot be used for these purchases. The Sampler Plan and FLEX fund portion of the Commuter and Value Plus Dining Plans are taxable so they can be used for vending. Please see Housing Services for more details on you Dining Plan options.
