Option 2
An alternate Health and Dental Plan (like Alberta Blue Cross Supplementary Health and Dental Benefits)
There are many alternate extended health and dental plans to the Students' Union plan. Some students have this type of plan offered by their employer or are part of a family plan. Alberta Blue Cross is one such external service provider, offering a variety of extended benefit plans. It is your responsibility to ensure you have coverage and know how to submit claims for re-imbursement. Most extended benefit plans have 1-800- numbers for you to call and ask questions. Check out how to OPT-OUT of the Students' Union plan in early September if you have an alternate plan.
