Minors

Starting in May 2018, all students will have access to minors offered across the University (refer to the 2018 Academic Calendar),

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Access to courses to fulfill minor requirements is not guaranteed.
- Courses will not be overfilled to accommodate students wishing to fulfill minor requirements.
- Course substitutions are not allowed.
- Completing a minor may require taking courses above the minimum degree requirements.

General Requirements
Courses required for the minor may not be double-counted in fulfilling requirements for a degree program’s core, major or another minor. The six courses comprising the minor must be distinct from any specified core, major or other minor requirements. For students who complete the required courses, the minor will be acknowledged on the official transcript.

Students will follow the minor requirements for their specific Calendar year (which is displayed as "catalog term"). To find out your Calendar year, 1) login to the Bridge, 2) click on Student, 3) click on Student Records, 4) click on View Student Information, 5) select the most recent term from the dropdown menu, and 5) find the Curriculum Information heading that has the Calendar year is listed as CATALOG TERM (e.g. a Fall 2017 Catalog term would be a 2017/2018 Calendar year). Once you know your calendar year, you can ensure you are following the correct minor requirements as outlined in the links below:
