Minors

Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Health Sciences, Post-Diploma Bachelor of Health Sciences, and Bachelor of Health Sciences/Bachelor of Management students may elect to complete a minor in one of the following areas:

1) Aboriginal Health
2) Addictions
3) Health Leadership
4) Mental Health
5) Population Health

NOTES:
- Access to courses in minors is not guaranteed.
- Courses will not be overfilled to accommodate students wishing to fulfill minor requirements
- Substitutions are not allowed.
- Completing a minor may require taking courses extra to the minimum degree requirements.

General Requirements

Students must complete at least five courses (15.0 credit hours), including at least one course (3.0 credit hours) at the 3000/4000 level.

Students may not double count courses required for the minor in fulfilling requirements for their major. The five courses comprising the minor must be distinct from any such major requirements.

For students who complete the required courses, the minor will be acknowledged on the official transcript.
