Field School

Every summer, the University of Lethbridge conducts a field school, providing students with "hands-on" experience in archaeological excavations and material culture processing. Students from all disciplines are welcomed although ARKY 1000 is a prerequisite for earning course credit.

Want to have the experience of a lifetime this summer and earn 6 credits (two, 3000-level archaeology courses) doing it? The University of Lethbridge is offering two archaeological field schools this summer. The first is at the ancient site of Tel Beth-Shemesh in Israel. The second is at the fur trade site of Fort Vermilion in northern Alberta.
