Advancing Knowledge in Practical Nursing Research Grant

The Advancing Knowledge in Practical Nursing research grant is a partnership between the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) and Alberta Innovates (AI). This funding opportunity supports and fosters high quality research to build foundational knowledge about the Practical Nurse profession and practice and encourages innovation that produces “new discoveries” related to practical nursing and contributes to quality scientific literature.

This funding opportunity is designed to support research and integrated knowledge translation (iKT) projects that focus on LPN practice, utilization, and the quality of nursing care provided by LPNs in the Alberta. The results from the project are expected to add to the growing body of knowledge about the LPN role and provide evidence to support the growth of LPN the profession.
