What is the difference between a BFA, BMus and BA degree?

Although Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Arts degree programs share a similar core of required courses; the BFA or BMus provides a more in-depth study in your major. The BA option is a more general program with fewer required courses in your area of focus or major.

How do I figure out what classes I need to take?

Program planning guides outline the required courses for your specific degree and major, and provide a sample sequence of courses to help you plan.

How long does it take to complete my degree?

The BFA or BMus degree takes four years of full-time studies (five courses a semester for two semesters each year). It takes five years to complete a combined BFA/BEd, BFA/BMgt or BMus/BEd degrees.
