If you are a transfer, previous degree or post-diploma student and have completed less than five courses at the U of L, the GPA for co-op entrance purposes is calculated as an average between the new U of L degree/certificate/professional diploma and the previous degree/diploma/transfer. 

Here is an example:

   3.6 SAIT Diploma cumulative GPA

+ 3.0 U of L cumulative GPA (for 4 courses or less)

  6.6/2 = 3.3 Co-op entrance GPA

If you have completed 5 or more courses at the U of L, the GPA for co-op entrance purposes is the cumulative GPA shown on your U of L transcripts for your new degree/certificate/professional diploma.
