Post-diploma

The Faculty of Management offers a management degree for students with business or business-related diplomas from our partner colleges. Students earn two years of credit toward the post-diploma degree program and graduate in as little as two years with a bachelor ofmanagement degree.

BMgt/BEd - diploma admission route (35-39 courses)

There is a great opportunity for students with a business diploma who want to study management and education.

The post-diploma BMgt/BEd program is open to students with a business or business-related diploma from an approved college. It takes 3.5 years to complete and leads to the conferral of two degrees.

The program consists of 20 education, eight management, and seven arts and science courses. The combined degree program includes three professional semesters where students practice teaching in the schools.

The management major is General Management and the education major is Career and Technology Studies (CTS).

 

25-Course Post-Diploma Bachelor of Management Degree

If you hold a two-year diploma from a recognized academic institution, even if it's in an unrelated discipline, you may be eligible to earn a Bachelor of Management in as little as two and a half years.

The U of L has agreements with Olds College’s Land Agent Diploma, and SAIT’s Legal Assistant Diploma. 

Examples of other diplomas that have been accepted in the past are Architectural Technologies, Engineering, and Technology diplomas.  Contact us to evaluate your diploma!

Students admitted into this program take 25-courses to complete the Bachelor of Management degree program. Students in this program can pursue the General Management major only.
