City of Lethbridge

The city of Lethbridge is a thriving and friendly community of just over 85,000 people, situated alongside the Oldman River in Southern Alberta. It's location in the southwest Chinook zone provides a mild climate and abundant sunshine.
In addition to permanent residents of the city, there are over 15,000 students from both the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College, giving the city a youthful and dynamic character and placing it at the forefront of progress and innovation.
Lethbridge boasts a vibrant arts and cultural community as well as being the site of numerous athletic and entertainment events. Locals enjoy the symphony, art gallery, museum, live theatre, top-name concerts, professional and varsity sports and restaurants featuring an eclectic variety of cuisines. The city hosts a number of exhibitions and trade shows including the annual "Whoop-Up Days" fair and rodeo.
Residents of Lethbridge benefit from the amenities of a larger centre while avoiding many of the safety and lifestyle issues attributed to bigger cities. For those who do occasionally like to take in a more cosmopolitan environment, the city of Calgary, with a population of over one million, is only two hours drive away.
