What is JDC West?

JDC West is the largest student-run business case competition in Western Canada and is a three-day event that showcases academic competitions, athletic challenges, a social competition, and an overwhelming demonstration of corporate social responsibility. Nearly 600 students from 11 of Western Canada’s top Universities unite annually to compete in this competition that is solely organized by and for business students.

JDC West seeks to assemble the best business students that Western Canadian universities have to offer. The competition provides students an opportunity to compete with each other in all facets of business, while developing networking, critical thinking, and leadership skills as they prepare to begin their careers in the business world.

Why Should I Get Involved?

JDC West is a fantastic opportunity for you to be recognized for your abilities and skills in a variety of business areas! As the only student-run business competition in Western Canada to combine academics, athletics, and school spirit challenges, JDC West is designed to accelerate your business skills and drive you to succeed. This is the chance to represent your school and province in the most prestigious business competition.

Industry recruiters and representatives will be present to evaluate all the academic competitions. Such exposure offers you the opportunity to develop professional contacts that will help you in your career. Prove to the business community that you have what it takes!
