Provides electronic access to detailed information on over 450,000 associations, professional societies, nonprofit organizations, and other granting agencies at all levels, local to international. Searchable by geographical location, subject, award type, award name, and more.

Canadian Directory to Foundations & Grants (20th ed.). (2006) 2 volumes.

Contains detailed profiles of about 2,400 Canadian foundations, as well as over 150 U.S. foundations with a history of granting in Canada. Many kinds of foundations are included - government, corporate, family, community, special purpose, and service club. Extensively indexed. Also included are sections on proposal writing, foundation web sites, tables analyzing data on foundations, and more.

Europa International Foundation Directory (17th ed.). (2008).

Provides international coverage of over 2,500 foundations, trusts, charitable and grant-making NGOs, and other not-for-profit organizations. Information is detailed and well indexed. Essays in Part One provide valuable background information on the foundation sector, including an overview of foundation activity and trends world-wide.

Grants Register. (2008).

Containing detailed information on over 4,000 awards from 62 countries, this is an authoritative and comprehensive guide to postgraduate grants and professional funding worldwide. Aimed primarily at students; focus is on graduate and postdoctoral scholarships, fellowships, and other awards. Well indexed.

Guide to Canadian Grants and Assistance Programs from Government and Private Sources. (2006).

This looseleaf directory provides detailed information on over 1,000 grants and assistance programs from Canadian federal and provincial governments, as well as many private sources. Arranged by level of granting agency (national, provincial), then by subject. No indexes.
