Southern Alberta Art Gallery - Turcotte Resource Library
PURPOSE:
The Southern Alberta Art Gallery's mission is to foster the work of contemporary artists who challenge the boundaries of their disciplines and to advance their work in a larger realm. The library collection focuses on contemporary Canadian art and contains over 8,000 gallery and artists' catalogues, journals, newspapers, annual reports, monographs and video tapes.

- Online Public Access Catalogue
- Videos of lectures and interviews with artists who have shown at the SAAG plus other videos on different subject matter
- Numerous exhibition catalogues from galleries across Canada, the U.S.A. and Europe
- Slides documenting past exhibitions and events at the SAAG
- Reference materials in the form of technical manuals, maps, art directories and governmental reports
- A broad selection of art magazines
- Newsletters and annual reports produced by many Canadian and American galleries
- Books pertaining to Canadian, American and international art of the last 150 years
