Canadian Agriculture Library - Lethbridge

PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this library is to serve research scientists. It houses materials related to agriculture and related disciplines, such as: animal science, animal parasitology, biological sciences, crop entomology, microbiology, plant pathology, plant science, and soil science.

RESOURCES:

• Online public access catalogue AMICUS - includes holdings of all Canadian Agriculture libraries; look for the LOCATION code ALAG (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Lethbridge Research Centre)
• Approximately 300 periodicals and 7,000 books
  
• Government documents, mainly dealing with agriculture
  
• Approximately 2,000 slides
  
• Archival material related to the Research Station
  
• A small map collection - mainly topographical maps

• Open to the public for in-house use *NOTE [July 2012]: Due to renovations, the collection is not currently available to the public.*
