Frequently Asked Questions

These instructions will create persistent links that work both on and off campus.

Instructions:

  1. Connect to any ProQuest database from the Library’s database page
  2. Conduct a search
  3. From the search results list, click on the article title > Copy link (above the title) or Durable URL
  4. Copy and paste the persistent link into your web document

Note: Some databases may not offer persistent links.  For further information, contact your subject librarian or use our Ask Us service.

To ensure that you will always be able to find your online materials again, copy the complete citation below the URL. The complete citation information should include: author, title, publication, volume and issue number (if applicable), copyright year and page numbers. Make note of where the article was found. [Retrieved from database provider and database name].
