Sit-down Computer Stations (Distributed)

Require approved log-in and password

  • Equipped with floppy (only on south side of level 9) & CD/DVD drives, USB port
  • Equipped with CD/DVD burning software
  • Provide access to online Library Information Resources

    • UofL Users
      • Access to UofL printers using Bridge Bucks
      • Access to UofL network drives "P:" (personal drive) and "W:" (Web space)
      • Access to Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs that support courses and academic research
    • Community Users
      • Access to UofL printers using the stand-up computer stations (using a guest Bridge Bucks card obtainable from the Bridge Bucks machine located near the Library entrance)
      • No access to any UofL network drives
      • Access to Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs that support courses and academic research

Lethbridge Community Network (LCN) Computer Station

  • Equipped with scanner
  • Access to the UofL printing using Bridge Bucks card
  • No access to UofL network drives
  • Access to Microsoft Word
  • Equipped with floppy & CD drives, USB port
  • Equipped with CD burning software
  • Access to online Library resources

  • Includes MacIntosh and PC

Laptops

  • Personal Laptops
    • No access to UofL printers
    • Can access "P:" and "W:" network drives using FTP

  • Circulating Laptops
    • PC, Mac and tablets
    • No access to UofL printers
    • Can be booked and signed out at the General Services Desk
      • Undergraduates - 4 hour loan period
      • Graduate students, faculty and staff - 24 hour loan period
    • Can access "P:" and "W:" network drives using FTP
    • Access to Microsoft Office Suite and other software programs that support courses and academic research
    • Access to online Library Resources
