Our current display focuses on water, our planet's most precious resource. Our materials touch on current topics such as the global water crisis, the politics of managing water, water conflicts, the global issues of sharing water resources, poverty and water, drinking water and many more.
The Library has been building a collection of materials to support water research which is ongoing in the Alberta Water and Environmental Sciences Building (AWESB) at the University of Lethbridge. This state-of-the-art facility which opened in 2008 supports research in areas such as watersheds, water ecology, water quality and public health, environmental monitoring, hydrologic forecasting and water resource management.
We encourage all University of Lethbridge Library users having current borrowing privileges to borrow items on display; simply ask at the General Services Desk and someone will retrieve the items for you from the cabinets. Scroll down this page to check out the items on display.
