Sharing the Circle

Dec-18-2008 - Apr-15-2009

The major focus of our current display, Sharing the Circle, is Canadian aboriginal art and literature.  In addition it highlights native challenges such as women's issues, health and healing, residential schools, gambling and more.  This display will tie in nicely with Native Awareness Week which will be held on the UofL campus March 2-6, 2009.

Our display is enhanced with native art borrowed from the University of Lethbridge's extensive Art Collection.  Thanks to the University Art Gallery for loaning us these items - they positively impact our display!

We encourage all University of Lethbridge Library users having current borrowing privileges to borrow items on display; simply ask at the General Services Desk and someone will retrieve the items for you from the cabinets.  The items on the table are also yours for the borrowing!  Simply walk over to the General Services Desk and sign them out!
