Comeragh House

In recent times Comeragh House was the home of Peter Menton a war crimes suspect who died while awaiting trial. Years after World War II Menton had started selling off a valuable art collection it was reputed he had stolen and later stored at Comeragh House. Some of the pictures were recognized by family members who had survived the war and this led to his arrest.
