JoVE Lab Index is a free tool which enables scientific researchers to identify the most influential scientists within a specific research area and to rank them by their contributions to the field. The index searches millions of published research papers and hundreds of thousands of scientists and returns the four most relevant topics as word clouds. Additional features include open job postings within the defined research area, grants awarded by the NIH and/or the NSF, speaking events at conferences, etc.
