Spanish Summer Immersion Program

The Spanish Summer Immersion Program provides you with an opportunity to improve your Spanish language skills while immersing yourself in a new culture, exploring a new city, and traveling as a group with other students like you. Improve your intercultural skills and enhance your student experience while you earn 9 Spanish credits!

When: June 11 to July 15, 2023

Where: Jaén, Spain

Courses included:

• SPAN 2850/3850 - 3 uLethbridge credits

• Spanish Language and Culture (SPAN 2xxx) and/or Spanish Language and Culture (SPAN 3xxx) - 6 Transfer Credits

Prerequisite: SPAN 1100 or waiver by instructor

Cost: $5,150* (includes tuition, accommodation, meals, field activities and transportation from Madrid to Jaén). Airfare and Travel Health Insurance is NOT INCLUDED.

*This cost is for domestic students and is subject to change based on enrollment or other factors, but this is a fair estimate for budgeting purposes. International students should email outgoing@uleth.ca to request an estimate. 

Travel Award: Domestic undergraduate students are eligible for an up to $2,500 Global Skills Opportunity award. Application open on Bridge.
