Our City

Welcome to Lethbridge! Lethbridge is located in the heart of sunny, southern Alberta. Our city is defined by its unique and beautiful landscapes (in particular, our rolling coulees) and its cultural vibrancy with flourishing arts and social scenes. Lethbridge is also famously windy; chinook winds make for milder, warmer winters than almost anywhere else in Alberta. Approximately 100,000 people live in Lethbridge, and the city offers plenty to do in terms of entertainment, culture, and recreation. We are located close to both the U.S.—Canada international border and the Alberta—British Columbia provincial border, and just a short drive away from the Rocky Mountains.
