IT Services provides you with a way to setup your own account username and password to access various University services. The webpage www.uleth.ca/loginsetup will walk through the creation of a basic account for any student, faculty, staff or alumni. This account includes services accessed through the Central Authentication Server (CAS), Active Directory (AD) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) servers, such as email accounts, The Bridge, computer and network access, website access and other privileges that are further tailored to the individual's needs and role at the University.
Accounts and privileges for University enterprise applications are also managed by IT Services in order to restrict or allow access to sensitive data such as student, finance, human resources, advancement, etc. Examples include Banner and Bridge privileges, database access, or third-party application access.
IT Services can also suspend or terminate user accounts or privileges on demand (requires business approval).
Visit www.uleth.ca/loginsetup or click on the "Need a Username?" link on the login page of The Bridge to get started.
Employees must obtain approval from their supervisor in order to request further access or privileges in any enterprise system, such as Banner. Access to student, finance, human resources, and advancement data requires approval from the data custodians of each accessed area.
For access changes or suspension/termination requests, contact the IT Solutions Centre, and one of our Client Services Specialists will forward your request appropriately.
There is no cost for this service, as it is funded by the University.
Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM for termination or suspension of user account access, and for Banner or other enterprise application access requests.
Please contact the ITS Solutions Centre for assistance with this service (403-329-2490, help@uleth.ca, or Room TH218, Turcotte Hall).
