The IT Services Project Management Office (PMO) provides resources, tools, training and other services to support faculty and staff who undertake projects at the University.
RESOURCES
The PMO can provide resources to help manage the complete project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, close) or be assigned specific management duties within a project.
TOOLS
Project Management tools enable stakeholders to make decisions and/or manage processes at each stage of the project lifecycle. Examples of PM tools include project monitoring and tracking tools, document templates, project reporting tools and communication tools.
TRAINING
The PMO can provide project management training to your staff so that projects can be managed using industry best practises. Some example training topics include:
- The Project Management Lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, close)
- Project Team Management
- Project Communications Management
Training can be customized to meet the needs of the client.
OTHER
The PMO also provides other project management-related services including Business Analysis and Business Process Modelling.
