IT Services coordinates the purchase of Internet domain names for the University community. While most University sites are hosted under www.uleth.ca or www.ulethbridge.ca, it is sometimes desirable to utilize a separate domain name. Domain names can be purchased for University business units, research projects, marketing campaigns, and student groups.
The minimum term for a domain name purchase is five (5) years.
Although often requested, .edu domains are only available in the U.S.

The cost for this service will depend on the length of the term and the top level domain (TLD) that is requested. (Costs for .com domains are different than for .ca domains, for example.)
