IT Services provides access to audio conferencing resources such as ad hoc conferencing on your desk or IP Phone, conference phones and conference bridges.

  1. Ad hoc conferencing for up to six parties is available directly by pressing the "Confrn" key on your phone while in a call. For more information see the instruction manual for your specific phone type.
  2. Scheduled audio conferencing for up to 12 parties can be scheduled online via http://mymeetingplace.uleth.ca. Click on the Help link on the top right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Scheduled audio/video/web conferencing (WebEx) is available for conferencing up to 25 parties. A user account for WebEx must be requested from the Solutions Center and can take up to 7 days to process. Once the account is created, scheduling is done via a web interface.
  4. For conferences in larger spaces such as meeting rooms, conference phones are available. Please allow 48 hours notice for conference phones.

What is the cost for this service?: 
  1. Ad hoc conferencing - long distance charges will apply.
  2. Scheduled audio conferencing - long distance charges will apply.
  3. Webex accounts are billed directly to the user at a rate of $40.00 per month, plus long distance charges.
  4. Conference phone installations incur a $10 charge.
When is this service available?: 

24 hours/day, 7 days/week, except when scheduled maintenance is being conducted.
