Information Security Office

Welcome to the Information Security Office site.  This business unit exists within the IT Services department to help the University community meet the following goals:

  1. Create and enforce a comprehensive information security program, including standards, procedures and guidelines.
  2. Monitor and report on illegal access activity, as well as inappropriate data exfiltration of research information and personal data.
  3. Report current threats to the University community in a timely manner.
  4. Promote Information Security Awareness both within the institution and in the local community.

This site has been created to provide resources to help you secure your online experience and protect you from those that would steal your identity, password and other important information.

The content listed in the menu on the left side of this page will help you navigate the ever-changing world of information security.  There are links to common security requests, information pages, and detailed descriptions of current and past threats.  If you can't find what you're looking for, don't hesistate to reach out for additional information.
