Systems Support Specialist I
The University of Lethbridge Web Team (information Technology Services) is seeking applications for a full-time Systems Support Specialist I (Web Operations coordinator) commencing as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Manager, Web Services, the successful applicant's role is key to the success of the day-to-day operation of the University's public-facing website. Acting as a support to the internal web team and a single point of customer contact for the greater community, the Web Operations Coordinator is responsible for:
- Management of our support request tracking system (Cherwell)
- Maintenance and lifecycle planning for legacy applications
- Setup and testing of Drupal-based websites
- Training & documentation for users of the public-facing website
- Interacting with the Systems team for site migration and site deployment
- Creation, management and maintenance of surveys, online ballots,
online transaction requests and general web form creation
- Basic Drupal site configuration, modification and development assistance
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,629.00 - $4,037.50 per month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You are a successful graduate with a two-year diploma or a 4-year degree (preferred) in an Information Technology-related field of study. Augmenting your academic achievements, the successful candidate will have developed Client interaction skills (phone, in person & training scenarios; strong written and verbal skills to assist in documentation and communication; a core foundation of HTML 4 & 5 and CSS standards; experience with PHP, Apache, Linux, MySQL, OSX and Windows platforms; and strong troubleshooting skills and independent problem solving skills.
