Administrative Support II
(TERM POSITION)
The University of Lethbridge is seeking a qualified individual to fill a full-time position as Administrative Support II to the University Governance Office for a one-year term maternity leave replacement. This position is exempt from the bargaining unit.
Under the supervision of the Director, University Secretariat, the successful applicant will work as part of a team, in the President's office, with specific responsibilities for the University Senate Duties include the organizing of meetings, preparation of agendas, attending meetings of the Senate and its committees, and recording and distributing the minutes. There are also significant responsibilities associated with Convocation, the Board of Governors, General Faculties Council, the budget and Honorary Degree recipients.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,630.00 - $4,033.06 per month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant will have at minimum a two-year diploma in an applicable field and a minimum of three years prior related work experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Employment experience in a post-secondary institution is an asset as is experience taking minutes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as accuracy, attention to detail, and working cooperatively with others. The ability to balance priorities, work within legislation, bylaws and University policy is a fast-paced, confidential work environment is important. The successful applicant must have strong organizational and computer skills.
