The policy also includes failure or omission to act. General liability covers: bodily injury liability, personal injury liability and professional liability.

The general liability policy also provides defense of any claim, suit or other proceeding related to the above areas against a member of the Executive Director group even if the action is groundless, false or fraudulent.

The University's insurance policies do not provide damages or defense costs in the areas of employment practices (e.g. demotion, termination, discrimination, discipline, breach of contract) and human rights, nor does the University provide insurance in relation to any vehicles personally owned by members of the Executive Director group.
