The University of Lethbridge contributions to two separate defined benefit pension plans; Universities Academic Pension Plan (UAPP) and the Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP). A defined benefit means the pension is based on your highest average salary and the number of years of your pensionable service. Eligibility is according to the UAPP or PSPP regulations, employment status, employee group, and length of service with the University.
