Alberta Health Care Insurance provides universal access to medically necessary hospital and health care services. This does not include physician visits for
- Medicals include employment notes
- Illness notes
- Physicals for employment
- Physicals for Visas etc.
- Driver's medicals
Although we do accommodate many of these requests, you will be required to pay for the physician's visit and associated costs, including any additional testing or lab services.
