ORS Facilities
P100 - P100 is a great place to hang out and residents are always welcome. There are comfy couches and the TV is always on. Come try out the pool table and meet some new people. Also, ORS is always looking for ways to make P100 better so if you have any ideas for improvements or some suggestions for items or services you would like to see made available, please contact VP Aperture Park about your thoughts.
K111 - TV lounge. Movie room, games and more!
The Void - (C410) - The Void is a multi-purpose room. There you will find a stereo system, pool table, foosball table, TV, and air hockey table. This space is open 7 days a week during the evenings. This space is also licensed for responsible alcohol use, if you chose to do so. See the VP University Hall for more information about the kinds of events that can be held in the Void.
K300 - These are games rooms with pool tables, air hockey, foosball, and entertainment centers including a TV, VCR, DVD player, and stereo. Each apartment building has its own games room and you will find K300 in the Kainai Building.
Patterson Center - This building is located in residence. It houses laundry facilities, vending machines, and a large lounge area. Come out and play pool, foosball, air hockey or watch TV and movies on the big screen TV. There are also computers in the building for residents to access the web.
Piikani Work Out Room - A great workout facility for all residents. Equipped with various pieces of exercise machinery for all of us to use, including a punching bag. This room is open everyday of the week. If you need access to The work out room on weekends please contact the RAD Aperture Park.
The Practice Room - (D205) - The practice room contains an electric piano and is sound proofed to help dampen noise. This room is a great place to practice for those upcoming music exams. Keys can be obtained for the practice room by contacting the Housing Office. You are responsible for the key, much like your mailbox key and will be charged if not returned to Housing when your contract expires. Please take care when using this space so future residents can enjoy it.
Christmas Cabaret - Usually held near the end of November, this is one of the biggest events of the year! You cannot come overdressed to this event, so break out the formal attire and come out for a night of dinner, dancing, and a great social atmosphere. The ticket price includes a bus ride to and from the Lethbridge Lodge, a beautiful buffet dinner, and a DJ to spin the tunes all night. This event is not to be missed out on, so come on out and let loose before exams begin!
