Laundry Facilities
Laundry facilities are located in each of the Residence buildings. In University Hall, you will find the laundry room on C4 beside the TV room. In Piikani and Kainai, laundry rooms are located on each floor at the end of the hall. In the family townhomes, they can be found in the central core of each building. For the single student townhomes, laundry facilities are found in the Paterson Centre.
You will probably be the first ones to find out if a washer or dryer doesn't work. If a machine breaks down, please contact Housing Services or a Residence Assistant so we can get it fixed right away. It would also be helpful if you put an "out of order" sign on the machine giving a brief description of what is wrong. Please help us keep the building looking great by leaving the laundry room a little cleaner than you found it. These rooms are scheduled to be cleaned weekly so please help us out by disposing of garbage and dumping the lint trays into the receptacles provided. Please remove your laundry as soon as it is done so the next person can have access to the machines. Your co-operation is appreciated by all.
Laundry in One and Three Bedroom Townhomes - Congratulations! You don't have to wander outside in minus 15 degree weather to do your laundry! One thing to remember: do not overload these machines. They will break and unfortunately are very expensive to fix. If you have any extra large loads, take them to the laundry room in the central core of the building where the machines are a little larger. Thanks for your co-operation.
